GOLFFIT

Posture, mobility, strength, balance and coordination are key factors in golf performance. When any one of these is not optimum, performance declines and potential for injury increases.  Fortunately, there are steps that golfers of all levels can take to improve their form and reduce the risk of injury.

TITLEIST PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE

Sherwood Park Sports Physiotherapy has teamed up with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) www.mytpi.com offering athletes one of the most comprehensive exercise and fitness programs available.

Our TPI certified physical therapist will take you through a complete array of tests used by the best golfers in the world. By assessing a “total picture” of your body’s movement patterns, they will design an exercise program to seamlessly integrate into your current golf program.

GOLFFIT FOR PERFORMANCE

GOLFFIT exercises stretch and strengthen areas of your body that have been preventing you from achieving your perfect golf swing.
As an athlete, you may already be using similar exercises. We will show you how to do the exercises properly using correct techniques.

Proper exercise helps ensure you move correctly, avoiding stress on the body.  This is very important if you are returning to golf after injury or surgery. Our therapist will work with you on the exercises necessary to speed your recovery and prevent re injury from reoccurring.
