As we step into 2025, we’re excited to celebrate a significant milestone—40 years in business. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our team members and clients who have believed in our vision. Your trust and collaboration have been the driving force behind our success, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
To celebrate and show our heartfelt appreciation, we’re offering all 2025 BRIDGE Continuing Education Courses at no cost. This is our way of giving back—sharing the knowledge, mentorship, and expertise that we’ve been privileged to gain over four decades.
As the costs for continuing education continue to rise and become more and more inaccessible, we want to remove barriers to learning and re-focus on what really matters: building better outcomes for clients all across our communities.

Doug Gilroy has been a trailblazer in sports physiotherapy for nearly four decades. In 1985, he founded Sherwood Park Sports Physiotherapy to create a multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Centre focused on treating athletic injuries. That vision grew further in 2015 with the opening of The Bridge—a groundbreaking facility offering not just treatments but comprehensive movement and return-to-sport training.
Doug’s philosophy has always been to think differently, challenge the norm, and deliver the best care possible. His innovative approach is at the heart of The Bridge’s KNEEFIT ACL Protocol, equipping practitioners with evidence-based strategies to guide patients through injury recovery and back to the activities they love.
