Topics to be Covered:

The purpose of this two-day course is to improve confidence when assessing and treating the thoracic spine. After performing an upper extremity scan, many new therapists are often unsure of when and how to assess the biomechanics of the thoracic spine and how to combine assessment findings with manual therapy and useful exercise interventions to maximize treatment outcomes.

This course will provide ample hands on opportunities to learn and get feedback on assessment, handling and treatment of thoracic spine biomechanical issues.
Assessment and treatment techniques will be taught to the Canadian Orthopaedic Division and IFOMPT standards.

In addition to Kevin’s work in the clinic, he has extensive experience teaching manual therapy and exercise courses to other physiotherapists.

He is an instructor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and with New York-based Hands On Seminars. Kevin has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach therapists in Canada, the U.S, South Africa, Turkey and India.
