Strength Training for Runners with James Greene |  South Edmonton


Back for another season, strength coach James Greene will be coaching athletes through an 8-week periodized training cycle targeting common running limitations found in core control, single-leg stability, plyometrics, run technique, & strength. ⁣
The goal of this program is to utilize your running offseason to improve injury resilience and performance. In addition to this, we want to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and strength that will allow you to be a lifelong runner.

Level 1 is suited to runners of all levels that are new to our program, those who did not complete our fall session, or those who wish to repeat the fall programming.

Program Details

Location: The Bridge – South Edmonton
(1979 – 111th Street NW, 2nd Floor)
Time: Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 8 – 9 PM
Dates: January 9th to February 29th (Leap Year)
Coach: James Greene – MScPT, CAT, CSCS
Cost: $320 + GST

After competitively participating in hockey, I found my muse by running, rock/ice climbing, hiking, and ski touring in the mountains. Competing in trail ultramarathons at the 50 km, 50-mile, 100-mile distances keeps me outside and in the mountains as much as possible.
