Treating the Neck: A Guide for New Graduates with Kevin Okamura

$300.00

As a relatively new physiotherapist, the neck can be an intimidating area to treat, and can indeed be complicated at times. The purpose of this two-day course is to improve confidence when assessing and treating patients with neck issues.
After performing a cervical scan and ROM testing, many new therapists are often unsure of when and how to assess the biomechanics of the neck, and how to combine assessment findings with manual therapy and useful exercise interventions to maximize treatment outcomes.
This course will provide ample hands on opportunities to learn and get feedback on assessment, handling and treatment of neck biomechanical issues and myofascial treatment techniques. Assessment and treatment techniques will be taught to the Canadian Orthopaedic Division and IFOMPT standards.”
