Growing up in a very sports orientated family -myself playing elite level soccer, my younger brothers playing elite level hockey, and my parents participating in a multitude of athletic events through the Canadian Armed Forces – I always knew that I would find myself in a career that allowed me to take care of athletes. After 7 years of hands-on experience within Edmonton Minor Hockey, I realized that my passion to help athletes reach their full potential on and off the ice could be pursued further and turned into a career.
I enrolled in a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy program in September 2016 and quickly fell in love with the entire realm of rehabilitation health and bodywork. Through formal education and continued growth of knowledge, I have had the opportunity to work with and travel with The Canadian Ball Hockey Association, The Canadian Lacrosse Association, and Hockey Alberta as the Team Safety Person, taking care of player injuries and rehabilitating them back to game ready. My passion continues to grow, and I strongly believe in the importance of providing education on maintenance and injury prevention through Massage Therapy and Bodywork.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, and doing yoga.
