Biography
My journey began in 2013 when I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, establishing myself as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. To further my knowledge and skills, I completed an additional degree at Mount Royal University in 2014, becoming an Athletic Therapist. After seven years with The Bridge and various sports organizations, academia called me back. In 2021, I returned to the University of Alberta to complete my Master’s in Physiotherapy.
Having navigated the sports world—from elite professionals to passionate amateurs and everyday individuals pursuing varied goals—my unwavering commitment is to provide authentic, process-oriented treatment. Whether your aspirations involve navigating life’s demands pain-free, achieving specific fitness milestones, or simply enjoying daily activities, I am dedicated to being an integral partner in your wellness journey.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find inspiration in the great outdoors, whether through running, rock/ice climbing, hiking, or ski touring in the mountains. Traversing complex terrain during alpine escapades or pushing my limits in trail ultramarathons, the significance of movement resonates deeply with me.
I firmly believe that physical activity and movement form the cornerstone of a balanced and healthy life. My mission is to empower individuals to reach their personal best, however they define it. I aid patients in this by employing a diverse array of movement-based exercise progressions, structured rehabilitation plans, manual therapy techniques, and fostering collaborative, creative thinking. Together, let’s unlock your full potential and elevate your daily experience.
