I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Science from The University of Sydney, and went on to complete my Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at The University of Queensland in 2013. My interest in this field began while I was playing soccer for my home state of New South Wales and dealt with a number of irritating injuries.
Since graduating, I’ve worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in two private practices, on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, Australia. Both of these clinics have had a strong inclination towards sports injury prevention and rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, ranging from the recreational athlete to the elite. My experience as a Clinical Pilates Instructor has enabled me to utilize Pilates equipment as a mode of rehabilitation to enhance movement patterns, develop localized strength and control, and provide pain relief to debilitating spinal and peripheral joint conditions (ex. osteoarthritis).
Away from the clinic, you’ll find me at my local beach paddling my surf-ski or enjoying everything that the mountains have to offer here in Canada.
