I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2015 after transferring from Concordia University of Edmonton where I played 3 years of collegiate volleyball for the Thunder. As I finished my undergrad degree in Kinesiology, I continued on as an assistant coach at Concordia as well as worked as the Kinesiologist for the Thunder Athletics program. I have coached on various teams from college to youth to even deaf teams at the national level.
Past my degree, I have completed my NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy) Level 1 Certification and am working to become a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the CSEP as well. I believe we should always be learning new things and this belief helps develop new and relevant skills to best help my clients.
My approach to rehabilitation involves a high focus on education and coaching. I really believe that the more we know about how our bodies move and function properly, the faster we can get back to injury free living.
