Return to Throw
Throwing involves the transfer of energy from the feet through the legs to the trunk, elbow to the hand. Any return to throw program must address the entire body.
This program consists of:
- Resistance training to strengthen the core and shoulder
- Progressive throw program with emphasis on proper mechanics
- Recovery stretch program to prevent future injury
Every program includes a Pre and Post Video Movement Analysis to record and monitor progress. Athletes should prepare to attend 1-2x per week for 6 weeks. Training is done by Senior level Physiotherapists or Kinesiologists and mirrors your sport demands as closely as possible.
Initial session: $110 includes Athlete assessment and Simi video movement analysis
Single session: $75
Package of 6 Sessions: $420
Sessions are covered as Physiotherapy through many Insurance Benefit Plans.
Athletes that have attended SPSP for rehab are not required to pay the initial session fee.
