STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT
MOVEMENT IS OUR FAVOURITE MEDICINE
A physiotherapy session at The Bridge involves a whole lot more than a table, a hot pack, and a TENS machine. Everything we do centres around an active approach that aims to not just relieve pain, but to also build the strength and resilience you need to tolerate your active life and sport.

Services
Rehab Exercise
An active lifestyle demands active rehab. and exercise is one of the most effective tools at our disposal. We select exercises that are effective for your individual needs, and help you progress them over time.
Education
A better understanding of your pain, injury, or limitation and the process moving forward are essential building blocks in becoming an empowered participant in your own recovery.
Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques can be an effective tool to help manage pain and improve function in the short-term while we work to improve strength, resilience, and confidence for long-term change.
Sports Injury Rehab
We have been serving athletes in our community for over 40 years. From minor sprains to major surgical rehabs, our team has a wealth of experience helping high-performance athletes return to their sport with confidence.
Dry Needling / IMS
Using an ultra-fine needle, IMS works through stimulation of the nervous system to reduce the sensation of tightness in a muscle, greatly increasing your strength and mobility in the rest of your rehab.
Blood Flow Restriction
BFR training is a technique that combines low intensity exercise with blood flow restriction cuffs to produce high-intensity results at lower stress that your body can handle.
OUR
PROCESS
MANAGE PAIN

No matter the injury or limitation you’re facing, the first step is to manage and relieve the painful symptoms and educate you on the plan moving forward.
OUR
PROCESS
BUILD CAPACITY

Once we’ve managed the symptoms, the fun part starts. We build a progressive exercise program in order to increase your body’s capacity to tolerate the demands of your life and sport.
OUR
PROCESS
DEVELOP RESILIENCE

Our coaches then introduce higher level strength and mobility work to prevent re-injury and make sure you leave even stronger than your pre-injury baseline.
