Biography

Exercise and sport have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started in competitive swimming, which led me to the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Swim Team in 2014. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts in 2019, I moved into competitive powerlifting, where I got hooked on strength training and the science behind performance.

I went back to the U of L for a Bachelor of Kinesiology, graduating in 2025, and then certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. I see exercise as a tool for more than strength and performance. It also supports overall health, mental well-being, sleep, confidence and quality of life.

Before joining The Bridge, I spent more than a decade in coaching and exercise roles: over ten years as a lifeguard and swim instructor, seven years coaching competitive swimming, plus work as a personal trainer, powerlifting coach and gym supervisor. Working with such a wide range of people shaped my approach, which pairs evidence-based practice with practical, individualized coaching.

Outside of work, I still train with a powerlifting focus when I can. I also enjoy fishing, hiking and time on the water. When my girlfriend and I are both off, we’re hanging out with our two cats (even though we’re dog people) or planning trips with friends.
