Biography
Brendan has left The Bridge and any existing clients can reach him via email at brendan@returntoperformance.ca
Born and raised in Edmonton, I graduated from the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta in 2018. Prior to starting my Masters, I completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology, with a major in Sports Performance, receiving honours with distinction during my studies.
During my undergraduate degree, I also competed on the Golden Bears Track and Field team, primarily in the 800m and 1500m events. I’ve always had a passion for strength and conditioning coaching outside of my own athletic pursuits, and I had the opportunity to work as a coach for varsity level athletes during my time at the university, as well as on-field physiotherapy work for rugby teams throughout Alberta.
My treatment style involves utilizing exercise and physiotherapy techniques to pursue rehab, performance, and ultimately injury prevention. I love working with athletes of all ages, or anyone else with goals they are looking to accomplish.
Outside of the clinic or gym, you can catch me at a hot yoga class, walking in the river valley with my labradoodle Cody, sharing food, drinks, and laughs with friends, or out in the Rocky Mountains hiking, climbing, and snowboarding.
