Biography

I was born and raised here in Lethbridge, AB where I grew up playing a variety of sports including badminton, volleyball and competitive soccer but ultimately focusing on soccer competing with the Lethbridge Football Club (LFC) and eventually Alberta Major Soccer League (AMSL).

In 2017, I was recruited to the University of Lethbridge Women’s soccer team where I played competitively for 4 years and eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Throughout my time on the team, I quickly grew to love our strength and conditioning sessions which allowed me to understand the importance and benefits of in-season and off-season training regimes.

During my first year at the UofL, I suffered an ACL injury, resulting in 2 major knee surgeries. Going through this process and routinely attending physiotherapy appointments helped me gain an appreciation and passion for injury rehabilitation and prevention as well as the significance of performing movements with quality.

Making the transition from athlete to strength and conditioning coach allows me to utilize my experience and help educate my clients regardless of age and physical activity background, while also continuing to expand my knowledge in injury rehabilitation and sports performance.

Outside of the clinic, I still enjoy playing soccer, weightlifting, hiking, softball, and skiing.
