Brittney BrownPhysiotherapist

I was born and raised in Lethbridge, AB, where I played various sports including badminton, volleyball, and competitive soccer. Eventually, I focused primarily on soccer, competing with the Lethbridge Football Club (LFC) and later in the Alberta Major Soccer League (AMSL).

In 2017, I joined the University of Lethbridge Women’s Soccer Team. While competing with the Pronghorns on the pitch, my studies culminated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. My time on the team deepened my appreciation for strength and conditioning sessions and these experiences highlighted the significance of tailored training regimes during both in-season and off-season periods.

During my first year at the University of Lethbridge, I suffered an ACL injury that required two major knee surgeries. The recovery process, including regular physiotherapy, ignited my passion for injury rehabilitation and prevention. It also taught me the importance of quality movement performance.

Transitioning from athlete to strength and conditioning coach, I now leverage my experiences to educate clients of various ages and athletic backgrounds. This role also allows me to continue expanding my knowledge in injury rehabilitation and sports performance.

Outside the clinic, I remain active, enjoying soccer, weightlifting, hiking, softball, and skiing.
