Biography
A passion for strength training and injury prevention lead me to graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I spent my degree focusing on injury management, strength and conditioning, as well as anatomy and biomechanics to further deepen my understanding of the human body. During my undergrad I was able to spend time with The Bridge family; learning their model for injury management and return to sport. Currently, I am continuing my education by studying to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA.
Growing up in Sherwood Park, I was always involved in community sports. Most of my childhood was spent playing soccer, eventually being able to play tier 1 for 5 years with Southwest United and finishing second in provincials. In university, my focus shifted to clinical performance as I participated in concussion testing as well as a VO2max and respiratory performance study.
My desire to help others achieve their goals and improve their quality of life is what motivates me to excel at what I do. Whether it be fixing a muscle imbalance, improving biomechanics, or simply improving athletic ability, my aim is to help everyone reach their potential.
