Jeremy PynnStrength & Conditioning Coach

Biography

My interest in human performance and injury rehabilitation started throughout my time playing basketball at Grande Prairie Regional College.

After my time playing college basketball, I moved to Edmonton to finish my degree at the University of Alberta, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Sport Performance) in 2022.

I was drawn to a profession where I could help people achieve their health and performance goals, or return to the activities that they love after an injury. I furthered my professional development and education by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

I’ve been fortunate enough to coach competitive athletes from sports teams and academies in the Edmonton area. I’ve worked as an assistant strength coach for U of A women’s basketball and men’s volleyball teams, and as one of the lead strength coaches for the Western Canada Prep Academy (WCPA) men’s basketball program.

I enjoy working collaboratively with each client to design a personalized program that suits the demands of their lifestyle and sporting activities. I aim to provide each of my clients with a safe, effective, and enjoyable experience in pursuit of their performance and/or rehabilitation goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball, olympic weightlifting, and going camping with friends and family.
