Biography
I grew up primarily competing in martial arts, where I invested over 15 years of my life into training and coaching athletes. Nowadays I focus my efforts in the strength and conditioning realm with a special interest in strength sports such as Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting.
My experience in sport, or more accurately my experience with sport injuries and different clinicians, always left me wanting more. Hence, I attended the Kinesiology program at the University of Alberta and eventually, University of Western States down in Portland Oregon. At UWS I was able to successfully complete both my Doctor of Chiropractic and my Masters of Sports Medicine, graduating summa cum laude.
I aim to combine the manual techniques I’ve acquired through my education and the coaching experience I have, to create a unique and individualized treatment plan for my patients. That being said, I strongly believe that one of the best ways to recovery is patient empowerment through movement and I encourage all my patients to get active.
