Biography
My passion for physical activity and sports led me to enrol in the Bachelor of Kinesiology program majoring in Sports Performance at the University of Alberta.
With a few classes and a practicum left in my degree, I am set to graduate in April 2023. Throughout my degree, I have gained experience assisting individuals experiencing impairments with exercise. I have also recently obtained my Personal Training Certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
Growing up, I played soccer at various levels for about 8 years. My participation and interest in sports, in addition to my desire to help people led me to a career where I am lucky enough to do both.
Having worked at The Bridge throughout my undergraduate degree as a receptionist and physiotherapy aide, I am eager to take on a new position and gain practical experience in the field of sports, general health and fitness, and rehab.
I aim to help individuals complete their daily activities better than they did before and feel confident in their abilities, as well as help those who wish to elevate their performance in sport.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy working out, hiking, snowboarding, and running!
