Biography

I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014 (with Honours and Great Distinction) and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2016, where I was recognized as the Most Distinguished Graduate.

Upon graduation from the School of Physical Therapy, I worked in the areas of Orthopaedics and Sport Rehabilitation in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I completed a Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan with Huskie Athletics.

Following this fellowship, I worked as a full-time therapist for Huskie Athletics at the University of Saskatchewan, where I managed all injuries and rehabilitation for the varsity football, track & field, and soccer programs. Prior to moving to Lethbridge, I spent a year as a physiotherapist at the world-renowned Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Centre in London, Ontario. At Fowler Kennedy, I was able to work with a leading sport medicine team and gained experience in providing high quality, timely, comprehensive and compassionate care.

I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and seek to integrate these principles into my rehab programs. I strongly believes in using assessment and treatment strategies that are best evidence-based practice. Once your injury history and situation are understood, sessions usually focus towards education, load/activity management, and progressive exercise prescription. I am looking forward to rehabbing all types of musculoskeletal injuries, but I have a special interest in sports injury management, lower extremity injuries, post-op rehab, and individuals who are struggling with persistent pain complaints. The plan is always to get you back to what you want to do.
