Biography

My career started at University of Alberta Augustana where I completed my BSc in Kinesiology. During my time there, I worked as a personal trainer for the University Men’s Soccer team which ultimately led me to pursue and complete my Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2021.

During my degree, I’ve spent time treating a variety of conditions including cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal injuries. One of my core beliefs is that that movement is medicine and my treatment style reflects this. My greatest concern is to help you get back to your daily activities and perform them pain-free.

We will accomplish this with the employment of a tailored exercise program to address the issues stopping you from living life to the fullest. I will also utilize manual therapy to help get you feeling better as soon as you come through the door.

Since graduation, I have worked with patients who were involved in motor vehicle accidents, WCB patients recovering to return to work and others to help them return to their activity as soon as possible.

My passion for Physical Therapy revolves around sports-related injuries such as knee, shoulder and ankle injuries as well as return to sport training and testing. Whether you are someone who wants to perform your day-to-day activities pain-free or someone who is looking to return to sport better and stronger than ever, I have the tools and knowledge to help you achieve your goals.

If I’m not at the clinic I can be found at a climbing gym, a basketball court, lifting weights or out for a walk with my dog, Melo.
