Biography
I grew up in Calgary, Alberta and moved to Saskatoon in 2015 to attend the University of Saskatchewan. I graduated in 2020 with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and I then pursued my Masters of Physical Therapy.
During my undergraduate degree, I was lucky enough to play five years with the women’s basketball team where we were fortunate to win two USport National Championships and 4 Canada West Championships. I was also selected to represent Canada at the 2019 FISU games in Naples, Italy.
Being a varsity athlete, I had my fair share of injuries over the years and I spent a lot of time in the physio clinic which originally sparked my interest in the profession. I love the idea of pursuing a career that involves my love for exercise and moving the body with the ability to empower individuals throughout their rehab journey.
I am super passionate about getting people back to doing the things they love, whether that be their sport or their activities of daily living, through education, evidence-based, and exercise-based rehab. I have a special interest in sport injuries, running injuries, and concussion and vestibular treatment.
Outside of the clinic, you can find me in the gym, coaching youth basketball, getting outdoors, or spending time with my friends and family!
