Sapphire KroetschPhysiotherapist

Biography

Following the completion of a Bachelor of Kinesiology majoring in Sport Performance, I pursued a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. During university, I played two years of varsity soccer, was a student athletic trainer for the Golden Bears Football Team, coached competitive youth soccer and worked as an exercise therapist for patients with spinal cord injuries. Since stepping away from varsity soccer, I’ve continued to explore my love for outdoor adventures including running, skiing and hiking.

My passion for Physiotherapy began years ago when I was a patient at The Bridge Sherwood Park. The energy in the clinic paired with my passion for competitive sport is what initially fuelled my dream of becoming a Physiotherapist. While completing my Masters, I worked at The Bridge as a physiotherapy assistant and receptionist which solidified my desire to be part of this team.

I strongly believe that movement enriches peoples lives. I am passionate about creating a personalized, evidence-based, active rehabilitation program and providing you with the tools to take charge of your recovery. My goal is to get you back to doing the things you love, feeling stronger than ever.
