The RUNFIT Program Series: “Challenger” Fit to 10km


Whether you are aiming to improve your fitness, get into running, or better your overall running performance, the RUNFIT programs are designed to help you hit your goals by providing a consistent and progressive plan that will work to increase your confidence and physical capacity for running.
The “Challenger” FIT to 10km is a 12-week program designed to safely take you from an intermediate fitness level to running a 10km event. Physical prerequisite: can walk for 60-90min 4x/week or can complete some form of organized exercise (i.e., yoga, gym workouts, fitness classes) 2-3x/week.
In addition to the specific running program, RUNFIT also incorporates a progressive home exercise program which involves dynamic stretching, hip/core control exercises, running technique drills, and self-release techniques. This blend of progressive running and cross-training will allow you to become more in tune with your body, ensure you safely and successfully build up load tolerance, and give you everything you need to crush your running goals.
